How does BookingPam compare to Calendly, Booksy, or Vagaro?
Calendly is built for scheduling meetings — it has no gift cards, expense tracker, packages, or service-business tools. Can I switch plans anytime?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade anytime from your dashboard Billing tab. Upgrades take effect immediately, downgrades apply at the next billing cycle.
Do you charge a commission on bookings?
Never. BookingPam charges a flat monthly fee only. Your payment processor charges their standard transaction fees, but we take $0 commission.
What happens when my 7-day trial ends?
If you do not add a payment method, your account automatically downgrades to the Free plan. You will not lose your data, just access to paid features.
Is the Free plan really free forever?
Yes. The Free plan has no time limit and never requires a credit card or payment method. It is limited to 1 staff member and 3 services.
What is HIPAA BAA signing and do I need it?
A Business Associate Agreement is required under HIPAA for businesses handling protected health information. Therapists, medical spas, and chiropractors need this. It is included in the Premium plan.
Can I add my own domain on Pro?
Yes. On Pro and Premium plans you can connect a custom domain via a simple CNAME DNS record. BookingPam provisions SSL automatically. Combined with white-label on Premium, clients never see BookingPam anywhere. Learn how →
Can I remove BookingPam branding?
Yes — the White-Label feature on Premium removes "Powered by BookingPam" from your booking page. Best combined with a custom domain for a fully branded experience.
Can clients sign waivers before booking?
Yes — Premium plan includes Sign Agreements. Clients sign with their finger or mouse during the booking flow. 9 industry templates included (tattoo, fitness, medical, photography, and more). Both parties receive an email copy.
Can I offer payment plans or installments?
Yes — on Pro+. Create installment, recurring, or tiered payment plans. BookingPam sends the client a secure payment link. Failed payments trigger automated reminders before the plan is suspended.
Can I connect to Zapier, Make, or Mailchimp?
Yes — Webhooks (Premium) connect to Zapier, Make, and any automation tool. Mailchimp integration (Pro+) automatically syncs clients to your audience. Both are available from your dashboard.
