BookingPam automatically sends email notifications to clients and to you whenever something happens with a booking. You can also set up automated reminders to reduce no-shows.

Tip: Rebooking reminders are one of the most powerful tools to bring clients back. Set it to 30 days for regular service businesses.

Can clients get SMS reminders?

Yes โ€” SMS reminders are available on the Starter plan and above. Clients receive a text message reminder before their appointment.

To enable SMS reminders, go to Settings โ†’ Notifications and toggle on SMS reminders.

How do I send birthday emails?

Birthday emails are sent automatically to clients on their birthday โ€” but only if you have their date of birth on file.

Can clients unsubscribe from emails?

Yes โ€” every automated marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Clients who unsubscribe will no longer receive marketing emails (reminders, holiday campaigns, birthday emails) but will still receive transactional emails (booking confirmations, receipts).
