Formatting Your Text
Anywhere you write a longer message or document in BookingPam, you get a Word-style toolbar. Use it to make your text easier to read: bold the important parts, add bullet points, center a title, or link to another page.
Where can I format text?
- Terms of Service and other policies — Website → Policies
- Agreements and contracts — Business & Billing → Agreements
- Email campaigns to your clients — Marketing → Email
- The personal note in a review request — Marketing → Reviews
- Support tickets and replies — Support
On a phone, open More in the bottom bar to find each section.
What can the toolbar do?
- Text style menu — Normal, Heading, Subheading, Small heading, or Quote.
- Bold, Italic, Underline, Strikethrough — select your text first, then tap the button. Ctrl+B, Ctrl+I and Ctrl+U work too.
- Text color — a small set of colors that look good on your page and in email.
- Bulleted and numbered lists, plus indent and outdent.
- Align — left, center, right, or justify.
- Link — select some text, tap the link button (or press Ctrl+K), and paste the address. To remove a link, place the cursor in it and tap the unlink button.
- Horizontal line — a divider between sections.
- Clear formatting, Undo and Redo.
On a phone the toolbar scrolls sideways — swipe it to see every button.
How do I edit my Terms of Service?
Your clients see these policies on your booking page and must agree to them before paying. Changes appear as soon as you save. If you ever want to start over, Reset to Default brings back our starter text for that tab.
What happens to my existing text?
Nothing is lost. Policies and messages you wrote before the toolbar existed open as normal paragraphs, ready to format. You only need to save again if you make changes.
What will my clients see?
- Policies and agreements show your formatting on your booking page.
- Emails keep your bold text, lists, headings and links. Different email apps can display spacing slightly differently.
What isn't supported?
To keep pages and emails looking clean and safe, the editor doesn't support images, tables, custom fonts or font sizes, or embedded content. Colors are limited to the built-in set.
